Mamatography: A 365 Day Photography Project. At least one picture per day of what you did that day.
I've been kind of busy the past week. Nothing important, just regular old school stuff, parenting stuff, and being sick. I chose sleep over blogging a lot this week, to be honest.
Trust me: I had a lot of things I could have written about, like thinking the other side of the twinplex I live it was being broken into--which, apparently, was just city workers repairing a water main break a couple blocks from here (hey, I could hear what sounded like a drill through the wall in the bathroom. turned out to be from the pipes pipes); or how Isaiah managed to poop ALL over my bathroom without even letting me know he had to go; or how my dad and his pastor friend are fixing up the other side of the twinplex now and I really just want to swap sides, because it would come with a brand new kitchen, bathroom, and flooring. Instead, I turned off my computer and TV and silenced my phone and slept.
So, now that the week is over and I am STILL tired, here are my pictures.
Sunday, I locked myself out of the house and car on the way to church. Luckily, I had my phone and my mom came and picked us up and took us to her church. After church we went back to their house and B, our cousin J, and I played around outside with B's new camera.
Monday, someone from the cable company mistakenly turned off my internet without notice around 9 am. Let's just say Isaiah was NOT happy. They couldn't come out to fix it until 3, so Isaiah and I played outside and went over to visit Papa and Pastor Brown next door.
Tuesday was a lazy day. B and I made plans to go to see Twilight on Saturday, Isaiah and I watched the Little Engine that Could, and pretty much did nothing.
Wednesday, I had class, Isaiah had Awana, and I had worship team practice*, so by the time we got home, Isaiah passed out. It was fun, though. Only having 3 classes per day is pretty awesome, actually. And I only have 3 weeks left of the semester, so it's coming to an end fast.
*I got roped into it by my cousin's husband.
Thursday, I got hit on by two random guys at two different gas stations. First, when Isaiah and I went to the Circle K to get drinks for Pastor Brown and Papa. Then, when I got gas at the Speedway after picking B up from school and taking her to my parents' house and then to work. Ugh. At least it (maybe?) means I'm getting in better shape.
Friday was my early day at school. After school, I put Isaiah down for a nap, and went next door to watch Papa and Pastor Brown work. They're making great progress! New bottom cabinets, painted the upper cabinets and walls (first with Kilz, then with regular paint... the previous renters were Horrible). They also did some plumbing and electrical work and everything is looking great. Great enough that I wish I could live on that side.
Friday night, we got word that my older sister, N, was really sick. Her doctor sent her to the ER to get tested for meningitis. Luckily, she doesn't have meningitis, just a really bad virus that caused her to get dehydrated. She's now on bed rest and staying at my parents' house.
Saturday, Isaiah and I hung out until it was time to drop him off with my mom and take B to the movies. Twilight was pretty much just as I expected. Bella and Edward's kid was horribly fake for most of the movie. Like, really? Could you not hire some kids to play her? Oh well. At least it was a fun day and B and I got to make fun of it some.

Hello! Thanks so much for your comment.
DeleteI'll be sure post some before and after photos as soon as everything is finished.
They used it all over the kitchen, and it worked wonderfully.
Happy Holidays to you as well.
